- 1 cup chocolate chips (melted and cooled)
- 2 tablespoons vanilla (I was very skeptical of 2 TBS so I used 2 tsp)
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest (omitted)
- 1 teaspoon lime zest (omitted)1 ½ cups softened unsalted butter (1 cup plus ½ cup + 2 TBS canola oil)
- 3 cups Sugar (2 cups)
- 5 large eggs
- 2 ½ cups AP flour
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- ½ cup Sprite
- ¼ maraschino cherry juice
- ½ cup chopped maraschino cherries
- Cherry Vodka Glaze
