- In a saucepan, melt chocolate and butter on low heat until smooth, remove from heat, set aside
- In a small mixing bowl, beat eggs, slowly adding sugar, beating until thick and light yellow
- Combine the flour, baking powder and salt, add to egg mixture and mixed well
- Stir in extracts and melted chocolate
- Add nuts
- Pour half the batter into a greased 8 inch baking pan, set aside
- Filling
- In another small mixing bowl, beat the butter, cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy
- Add eggs, flour and vanilla , mix well
- Pour over batter in pan
- Spoon remaining batter over filling
- With a knife cut through batter to create marbled effect
- Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean
- Cool on rack and then cut in to squares store in refrigerator
