- Coat 13 x 9" pan with cooking spray.
- Combine 1 3/4 c. flour, oats, brown sugar, baking soda and salt. Add in applesauce and oil; stir with fork or possibly fingertips till proportionately moist and crumbly.
- Reserve 1 c. for topping.
- Press remaining mix proportionately into bottom of pan.
- Bake 15 min. Cold 10 min.
- Sprinkle with chocolate pcs. Stir remaining flour into caramel topping. Drizzle over chocolate. Sprinkle with reserved crumbs.
- Bake 15 min or possibly till edges are golden brown.
- Makes 36 bars
