- 1 (14 ounce.) pkg. caramels
- 1/4 c. whipping cream
- 2 c. walnuts
- 6 ounce. chocolate chips

- Unwrap caramels and combine with cream in top of double boiler. Heat over simmering water about 1 hour. Stir till smooth. Break walnuts coarsely and stir it. Drop by teaspoonfuls on a buttered cookie sheet. Let stand till hard. Meanwhile, heat chocolate chips over warm water till melted. Spread on top of caramels. Let stand till hard.
