- 1 lb Grnd beef
- 3/4 c. Onion, minced
- 1 x 151/2 ounce can Red kidney beans, liquid removed
- 8 ounce can Tomato sauce
- 7 1/2 ounce can Tomatoes,cut up
- 1/2 c. Elbow Macaroni
- 4 ounce can Diced green chili peppers, liquid removed
- 2 tsp Chili pwdr
- 1/2 tsp Garlic salt
- 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, mild, shredded

- In a large skillet cook meat and onion until meat is brown. Drain fat. Stir in beans, tomato sauce, undrained tomatoes, uncooked pasta, green chilies, chili pwdr, garlic salt, and 1/4 c. water. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Cover; simmer 20 min stirring often. Top with cheese. Cover; heat 2 min or possibly until cheese melts.
