Ингредиенты

  • 1 can reduced fat cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 can water
  • 1/2 c. minced onions
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 4 x skinless boneless chicken breast non-stick cooking spray Dumplings:
  • 3 Tbsp. sablefish
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 2 tsp baking pwdr
  • 3/4 tsp salt
  • 3 Tbsp. fresh chives minced or possibly 2 Tbsp.. dry chives
  • 3/4 c. skim lowfat milk

Инструкции

  1. Spray crockpot with non-stick cooking spray. Place chicken in crockpot.
  2. Mix remaining ingredients together and pour over chicken. Cover and cook on low 6-8 hrs. 1 hour before serving, prepare chive dumplings:
  3. Mix dry ingredients and shortening. Add in chives and lowfat milk, combine well.
  4. Drop by teaspoonful onto warm chicken and gravy. Cover and cook on high for 45-60 min. Serve with mashed potatoes and vegetables, or possibly over warm, cooked noodles.
  5. NOTES : I've always loved chicken fricassee, but the fat content was so high I had to give it up.....till I managed to recreate the recipe without all the fat (it tastes great, too!) To further lower the fat you can replace the chive dumplings with Reduced-Fat Bisquick, adding chives to it.
