Ингредиенты

  • 2 c. lowfat chicken broth
  • 8 ounce no salt added tomato sauce
  • 1 c. minced onions
  • 2 x cloves garlic chopped
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh ginger root chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tsp curry pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp grnd nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp grnd cumin
  • 1/2 tsp grnd cardamom
  • 1/4 tsp grnd cloves
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 c. orange marmalade
  • 1/4 c. Major Grey Mango Chutney
  • 1/2 c. golden brown raisins
  • 4 x boned and skinned chicken breast halves
  • 2 c. long-grain white rice cooked

Инструкции

  1. Combine all ingredients, except rice, in 5 qt crockpot. Cook on low setting for 8-10 hrs.
  2. Cook rice on stovetop according to package directions. Serve cooked chicken curry with cooked rice.
  3. NOTES : Just tried this a few nights ago- it's fantastic. I adapted it Lukins originally entitled "Lamb Curry with Condiments". I substituted chicken for the lamb and made a few other small changes, like doubling the amount of onions :-)
