- Cook the chicken for 10-12 min on high in a 3 qt covered casserole. Remove from oven and let cold. Remove meat from the bones and place back in the casserole dish with the broth.
- Combine the remaining ingredients except the noodles and nuts. Cook 10 min on high, then add in the noodles and nuts; cook for 2 min more. Stir and serve. Any 2 c. of cooked meat: beef, pork, turkey, shrimp are delightful substitutes in this recipe.
