Рецепт Chicken BBQ Pizza...
by Nan Slaughter

I love all pizza. But this pizza has my heart and my taste-buds and my gastrointestinal bits. I have probably made this pizza ten times in the last few weeks...I dream about this during the night, think about it during the day and by dinner-time I'm in the kitchen making Chicken BBQ Pizza yet again!

See those ingredients? They make up the sauce - a sauce so ridiculously easy to make and so delicious that you'll be making it over and over and then you'll spend an inordinate amount of time trying to find other ways to use it...maybe that's just me...but this sauce is great on pork chops, grilled chicken, pasta and over rice. Needless to say, the mister hates this sauce - it has waaaaay too much flavor and kick for him!

Store bought pizza dough ($.99 cents at Safeway, can't beat that!) and a cooked rotisserie chicken make this a cinch to put together...and while the sauce is my favorite part (because when the butter is mixed with the RedHot Wing's sauce and the other ingredients, it turns into a most tantalizing elixir) - the Bleu cheese is what sends this pizza into the stratosphere of pizzas! Not even kidding...Bleu cheese crumbled on top with mozzarella...serious pizza freaks will be all over this!

Shut the front door, slap yer momma, kiss the baby's bottom and give me one long and loud Hallelujah because just looking at that picture is enough to make me a bit verklempt! And once you sink your teeth into this off-the-wall-pizza you will be, too! Honestly, this pizza is going to be my downfall/Kryptonite!! It is so dang good. Yes, dang good, as in FIVE dangs on the ol' Meter!!!

Remember I said easy??? This pizza can be hot from the oven and into your mouth in just about 30 minutes. No lie, stick a needle in my eye! If this were a normal, run-of-the-mill pizza, I would make my own dough but because I can't stand the wait, I buy the dough. I buy the chicken already cooked. I race home, whip up the sauce, sprinkle everything on top and then pace in front of the oven like a caged animal. I have no shame.

Chicken BBQ Pizza - Adapted from Joni Flaker

(Joni made this pizza for me a year ago - and at the time I thought it was about the best thing I'd ever tasted. Joni is one of those cooks who just makes things up as she goes along...when I asked her how much onion powder she said, "Just whatever." When I asked her how much of the bottled sauce to use she held up her hands and said, "This much!" So I made this pizza over and over and as I went I took notes and while my pizza is not exactly the same as hers, it's pretty darn close!)

1 package purchased pizza dough

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Roll pizza dough out onto a rimmed baking sheet, making about a 10 or 11-inch circle. Set aside. In a medium bowl combine the Wing's Sauce, brown sugar, melted butter, ketchup, onion powder and garlic and mix well. Add cooked chicken to sauce and stir to coat chicken. Spoon sauce and chicken over pizza dough. Sprinkle mozzarella and Bleu cheese over pizza. Bake at 425 degrees for 18 to 25 minutes or until crust is a golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
