Ингредиенты

  • 1 sm chicken, whole, no skin, R-Tablespoons-C
  • 4 c. nonfat chicken stock
  • 1 c. water
  • 1 lrg onion minced
  • 1 whl bay leaf
  • 1/4 tsp thyme
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley
  • 3 whl peppercorns
  • 4 sm red potatoes quartered
  • 3 med white potatoes cubed
  • 1 sm baking potatoes cubed
  • 1 med yellow potato cubed
  • 1 whl ear of corn in chunks
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 4 whl capers
  • 1/2 c. lowfat milk

Инструкции

  1. Combine chicken, stock, water, onion, seasonings and simmer 2 hrs till tender. Cold, cut chicken and throw away bones and skin. Strain broth.
  2. Add in potatoes and boil 1 hour. Add in chicken and corn. Cover and simmer 30 min. Add in salt and pepper to taste and lowfat milk. Serve.
  3. NOTES : My guess is which the original called for cream. I think I'd try using the fat-free half and half instead of the lowfat milk.
