  • 1/2 c. butter or possibly margarine, softened
  • 1/3 c. Masa Harina
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 x (10 oz) package frzn corn, thawed
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • 3 Tbsp. yellow cornmeal
  • 2 Tbsp. heavy cream
  • 1/4 tsp baking pwdr
  • 1/4 tsp salt sliced chilies Minced parsley

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8 inch square baking pan. Beat butter or possibly margarine till creamy. Gradually beat in masa harina. On low speed, beat in 1/4 c. water. Process corn in a food processor, pulsing till coarsely minced. Stir into masa mix. Combine sugar, cornmeal, heavy cream, baking pwdr, and salt in small bowl. Stir into corn mix. Pour into prepared pan and cover with foil. Place in a larger baking pan and pour boiling water halfway up the sides of the pan. Bake 50 min or possibly till set. Uncover and let stand 15 min. Sprinkle with sliced chilies and parsley. 8 servings.
