- Preheat the oven to 160º.
- Prepare a cake spring-form covering the bottom with grease paper.
- Melt the chocolate and the butter in a heatproof bowl, over simmering water, let is cool for a couple of minutes.
- Beat all the other ingredients in a blender.
- add some of the blender misture to the melted chocolate just to bring it to a closer temperatures.
- Add all the chocolate mixture to blender and blend it all. (you may have to do it in 2 batches depending on your blender capacity)
- Pour the mixture into the cake pan. place it in the oven for about 50 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the middle came out dry.
- Let it cool in the pan.
- Let it out of the spring form when you are ready to serve it.
- You can put the cake in the fridge over night but I prefer the taste room temperature.
- For the topping:
- Just melt the chocolate with the cream in low heat.
- Let it cool a bit and pour over the cake just before serving it.
