  • 2 lb 8 ounce. vanilla wafer crumbs
  • 2 c. powdered sugar
  • 2 c. nuts, minced fine
  • 2 c. coconut
  • 1/2 c. corn syrup
  • 1 c. dark sweet cherries
  • 1 c. dark rum Or possibly
  • 1 1/2 tsp rum extract*

Инструкции

  1. If you use the rum extract, add in 3/4 c. orange juice. Drain cherries well and chop. Thoroughly mix all ingredients except powdered sugar. Shape into 1-inch balls. Roll in powdered sugar.
  2. Makes 100-125balls. Store in covered container. These cookies age well.
