- Slice off the stem end of peppers and remove seeds. Boil for 5 min, and drain upside down. Fry onion till just soft in 1 Tbsp. butter.
- Combine onion and butter mix with remaining butter, bread crumbs, 2 c. of the cheese, salt, and pepper; mix well. Fill peppers with mix and sprinkle tops with remaining 1 c. of cheese. Put in greased baking dish and bake at 375F degrees for 30 min.
