Ингредиенты

  • 2 c. lowfat milk
  • 150 gm butter
  • 2 c. flour, plain salt, pepper
  • 8 x Large eggs
  • 1 c. cheese, grated
  • 1/4 c. cream
  • 1 tsp parsley, minced
  • 1 x Large eggs
  • 1/2 c. cheese, grated

Инструкции

  1. Place lowfat milk and butter in pan, bring to boil, add in sifted flour all at once. Stir vigorously with a wooden spoon over heat till mix is thick and leaves sides of pan to create a smooth ball; remove from heat.
  2. Put paste into small bowl of electric mixer; add in Large eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add in 1 c. of cheese, the cream and herbs, season well and mix to combine.
  3. Dollop spoonfuls of mix onto greased oven tray, one against the other, in the shape of a circle. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with extra grated cheese.
  4. Bake in moderately warm oven 180C/365F for 10 min, reduce heat to moderate, bake a further 10 min till golden brown.
  5. Remove from oven and serve hot.
  6. Starter for dinner parties.
  7. Can be made ahead and reheated in the oven as required.
