Ингредиенты

  • 1/2 c. Buttermilk
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 1/3 c. Snipped fresh dill
  • 2 c. Flour
  • 1 c. Yellow cornmeal
  • 2 Tbsp. Sugar
  • 2 tsp Baking pwdr
  • 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  • 3/4 tsp Salt
  • 10 Tbsp. Chilled butter, cut into pcs
  • 1 3/4 c. Grated cheddar cheese

Инструкции

  1. Beat buttermilk, Large eggs and dill in a medium bowl. Combine flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking pwdr, baking soda and salt in a large bowl.
  2. Cut butter into dry ingredients till crumbly. Add in egg mix and cheese. Stir to mix well. Knead dough till it holds together. Pat dough to 1 inch thickness. Cut with biscuit cutter. Place on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees till done, about 25 min.
  3. Yield: 12 biscuits.
