  • 1 c. Chedar Cheese Pwdr
  • 1/2 c. Powdered Lowfat milk -- *
  • 1 Tbsp. Butter Or possibly Margarine as needed
  • 1/2 tsp Onion Pwdr -- optional
  • 1/2 tsp Caraway Seed -- optional
  • 1/8 tsp Garlic Pwdr -- optional
  • 1 Tbsp. Bacon Bits -- optional
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika, Sweet -- optional
  • 1/2 tsp Marjoram -- optional

Инструкции

  1. Mix dry ingredients together ahead of time and store in an air-tight container.
  2. To use, gradually add in sufficient water to the mix to make a smooth paste, about 1/2 to 3/4 c. for all of the mix.
  3. Add in a small amount of butter of soft margarine to enrich and smooth the mix.
  4. Spread on crackers or possibly bread, or possibly use in cooking other dishes.
  5. Instant lowfat milk pwdr makes a lumpy spread.
  6. NOTES: This dry mix will keep for a long time on the trail. Prepare only as much as you need at a time.
