%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnyways,%20Thanksgiving%20and%20Christmas%20preps%20are%20going%20around%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ein%20full%20swing%20all%20around%20me.%20Before%20I%20loose%20track%20let%20me%20share%20the%20Gajar%20Halwa%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EChocolates%20and%20some%20Carrot%20Halwa%20Coconut%20Laddoos%20that%20I%20made%20for%20Diwali%20this%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eyear.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20already%20shared%20the%20Carrot%20Halwa%20or%20Gajar%20Ka%20Halwa%20recipe%20and%20since%20I%20had%20planned%20on%20making%20fusion%20sweets,%20I%20planned%20to%20use%20my%20gajar%20halwa%20as%20fillings%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Einside%20chocolates%20and%20I%20used%20White%20chocolate%20and%20Milk%20Chocolate%20flavored%20Candy%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMelts%20for%20the%20same.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E(Candy%20Melts%20almost%20behave%20like%20tempered%20chocolates%20and%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eretain%20their%20shape%20and%20form%20even%20at%20room%20temp.%20If%20you%20do%20not%20have%20Candy%20Melts,%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Euse%20tempered%20and%20good%20quality%20chocolate)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20used%20my%20silicone%20heart%20and%20flower%20shaped%20ice-cube%20trays.%20I%20started%20with%20the%20White%20chocolates%20in%20the%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eheart%20shaped%20tray%20and%20everything%20worked%20fine%20with%20the%20filling%20and%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eshaping,%20however%20while%20un-molding%20some%20of%20my%20chocolates%20cracked%20up%20as%20the%20outer%20layer%20was%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Etoo%20thin%20:-(%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Emy%20first%20batchI%20was%20almost%20tempted%20to%20drop%20the%20whole%20plan%20and%20you%20can%20also%20see%20that%20the%20finish%20of%20the%20chocolates%20weren't%20too%20neat.%20But%20after%20few%20hours%20I%20was%20feeling%20more%20clam%20and%20I%20thought%20I'd%20give%20it%20one%20more%20try%20and%20went%20ahead%20and%20made%20few%20of%20the%20flower%20shaped%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Echocolates%20with%20Milk%20Chocolate%20and%20they%20worked%20out%20fine.%20Thank%20goodness!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20only%20made%20around%2010%20White%20chocolate%20Gajar%20Halwa%20Hearts%20and%208%20Chocolate%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EGajar%20Halwa%20Flowers%20(not%20counting%20the%20broken%20pieces)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFor%20the%20remaining%20Gajar%20Halwa%20I%20just%20went%20ahead%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eand%20scooped%20it%20out%20into%20mini%20bite%20sized%20balls%20using%20my%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAnd%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ethis%20was%20what%20it%20all%20finally%20looked%20like%E2%80%A6.Ta-Daaah!!%20;-D%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E(Here%20I%20haven't%20shown%20all%20the%20sweets%20I%20made,%20just%20the%20amount%20that%20would%20fit%20on%20the%20pate)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EIn%20my%20opinion%20White%20Chocolate%20paired%20really%20well%20with%20the%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EGajar%20Halwa,%20with%20its%20milky%20creaminess%20yet%20retaining%20the%20pronounced%20taste%20of%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Ethe%20sweet%20carrot%20pudding.%20But%20I%E2%80%99m%20biased%20and%20prefer%20milk%20chocolate%20to%20white%20choc%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3Eanyday,%20so%20I%20kinda%20liked%20that%20more.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
