Рецепт Caramel Toffee Cheesecake Brownies {Libby Original}
Our commissary has been known to sell boxes of brownie mix for
super cheap. When this happens, I take advantage of it.
I know. I can hear it now…but Libby, it's a box mix.
Before anyone starts sending hate mail my way, let me explain.
It's not that I haven't tried to make brownies from
scratch…because I have. Plenty of times.
However, every time I do this, Husband Man and the kids
will not eat them. It could be that I just haven't found the right recipe,
but after trying at least 7 of them, I don't think that's the case.
Truth is, in this family, nothing can beat the box mixes.
And if it's one thing I have learned over the years,
if it works…why mess with it..right?
This recipe is a doctored up version of the box mix.
I was getting a little tired of eating plain brownies so I did
some experimenting of my own.
These ooey, gooey, caramel-y, chocolate-y treats
were the result!
Everyone gave these five stars (with hubby calling them
devil brownies) and definitely agreed
that they were blog material.
In my opinion, a five star rating is not something
you want to mess with. Ever.

- 3 eggs
- 1/4 cup of water
- 1/4 cup of vegetable oil
- 1 (12 oz.) container of softened cream cheese
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 3 (1.4 oz. each) crushed chocolate toffee candy bars, we used Skor
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8x8 inch baking dish.
2. Make the brownie mix as directed on the back of the box, put aside the caramel pouch.
3. In a separate bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, and 1 tsp. of vanilla extract. Stir until well mixed.
4. Place half of the brownie mix inside the dish. Place the crushed chocolate toffee candy bars on top, making sure to evenly spread them out.
5. Place the rest of the brownie mix on the top.
6. Spread the cream cheese mixture on top of the remaining brownie mix.
7. Open the caramel pouch and spread it on top of the cream cheese.
8. With a knife, make a swirl pattern throughout the pan.
9. Bake for 38-41 minutes or until the cream cheese is set and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
