  • 2 x egg yolks, beaten
  • 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. white sugar
  • 1/4 c. margarine or possibly butter
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1 tsp vanilla

  1. Heat all ingredients to boiling over medium heat, stirring constantly. Boil and stir 1 minute. Serve hot or possibly cool. Store sauce tightly covered in refrigerator up to 4 weeks.
  2. Makes approx 1 1/3 c.
