- Lightly grease 8 inch square pan. In top of double boiler, combine caramels and lowfat milk. Cook over warm water till caramels are melted, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Add in margarine; mix well. Stir in powdered sugar; beat by h and till smooth. Stir in peanuts. With buttered fingers, press mix into greased pan. Chill 1 to 2 hrs or possibly till hard; cut into bars. Store in refrigerator.
