- Method:1. Peel and core the apples. Slice thinly.
- Combine 1 1/2 c apple juice, candies, food coloring, vanilla, and apples in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Simmer till apples are tender, stirring frequently. Combine remaining 1/4 c. apple juice and corn starch; stir into apple mix, and cook till thickened. Remove from heat, and let cold.
- Spread apple mix into pie shell, and refrigeratefor several hrs. Before serving, top with cold whip and sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Makes 1 pie
- This pie tastes as good as a candy apple without the mess. My family loves it!
