  • 1 lb round or possibly flank steak
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic pwdr
  • 1 tsp grnd ginger
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp grnd cinnamon
  • 1 pch chili pwdr
  • 2 tsp onion salt
  • 1/2 c. peanuts, finely crushed vegetable oil, for brushing

  1. Trim the steak of any fat and then cut into 1-inch wide strips. Place in a bowl or possibly a shallow dish.
  2. Mix the sugar, garlic pwdr, spices and onion salt together in a small bowl. Add in the crushed peanuts, then add in this mix to the steak, mixing well so which the spices are worked into the meat.
  3. Thread the steak on to six satay sticks, pushing the meat close together.
  4. place in a shallow dish, cover loosely with foil and let marinate in a cold place for a few hrs.
  5. Preheat a broiler or possibly barbecue grill. Brush the meat with a little oil and then cook over a moderate heat for about 15 min, till proportionately brown.
  6. Cooks tip: If barbecuing the meat, try to avoid it cooking too quickly or possibly burning.
  7. Serves 4.
