.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20many%20things%20happened%20that%20between%20jet%20lag%20and%20old%20age%20I%20am%20not%20completely%20sure%20of%20the%20order.%20I%20believe%20that%20our%20first%20lunch%20was%20in%20San%20Francisco%20at%20Wise%20Sons%20Deli%20The%20food%20was%20the%20best%20deli%20food%20that%20I%20have%20had%20since%20being%20in%20New%20York.%20Annie%20and%20I%20had%20the%20Deli%20Burger.%20It%20was%20ground%20with%20pastrami;%20beet-horseradish%20spread,%20deli%20mustard,%20iceberg%20&%20red%20onion%20on%20a%20challah%20bun.%20Yum.%20I%20think%20Tim%20and%20Rich%20stuck%20to%20Pastrami.%20We%20shared%20some%20chopped%20liver.%20This%20place%20is%20so%20so%20so%20good.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAfter%20lunch%20we%20waddled%20to%20Humphry%20Slocombe%20because%20someone%20wanted%20ice%20cream.%20Parker%20got%20some%20too.%20I%20skipped%20it%20because%20there%20was%20no%20way%20I%20could%20eat%20another%20bite.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOk,%20I%20had%20a%20bite%20of%20Rich's%20Foie%20Gras%20ice%20cream%20sandwich.%20Hey,%20we%20made%20history%20by%20having%20the%20last%20of%20the%20legal%20Foie%20Gras.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESo%20not%20only%20did%20eating%20go%20on%20but%20so%20did%20lots%20of%20playing.%20Parker%20and%20I%20played%20in%20his%20room%20and%20I%20got%20to%20read%20to%20him.%20I%20read%20him%20many%20partial%20books%20which%20he%20would%20close%20in%20the%20middle%20and%20say%20%22The%20end%22.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMy%20Parker%20(aka%20Mike%20-%20which%20he%20has%20taken%20to%20calling%20himself)%20and%20I%20played%20with%20Play%20Dough.%20He%20has%20his%20own%20technique.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EHe%20really%20gets%20into%20it.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%20went%20for%20really%20good%20Thai%20food%20one%20night.%20This%20place%20is%20awesome.%20It%20is%20in%20Oakland%20in%20not%20the%20best%20neighborhood%20but%20it%20is%20worth%20the%20risk%20to%20eat%20here.%20It%20was%20amazing%20but%20I%20am%20not%20going%20to%20tell%20you%20the%20name%20because%20then%20it%20will%20become%20all%20Trendy%20and%20over%20crowded%20(but%20I%20can%20be%20bribed).%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20had%20to%20have%20Tom%20Ka%20Gai.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThere%20was%20also%20down%20time.%20Like%20watching%20Yo%20Gabba%20Gabba%20with%20Papa.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOnly%20a%20couple%20of%20timeouts.%20He%20looks%20like%20he%20is%20suffering%20doesn't%20he?%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThere%20was%20a%20party%20at%20his%20daycare%20that%20we%20got%20to%20attend.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThere%20was%20the%20park%20in%20Sonoma.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EA%20little%20wine%20tasting.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThere%20were%20Oysters%20at%20Hog%20Island.%20Although%20the%20oysters%20are%20still%20amazing%20the%20place%20has%20gotten%20disgusting.%20Valet%20parking%20and%20a%20VERY%20drunk%2030-something%20fellow%20trying%20to%20speak%20french%20turned%20me%20off%20for%20good.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20think%20that%20Parker%20could%20have%20done%20without%20the%20oysters.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EGrammy%20couldn't.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThere%20was%20zoo%20time%20that%20was%20a%20blast.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EParkers%20favorite%20were%20the%20Fruit%20Bats.%20Mine%20too.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EParker%20also%20loved%20the%20goats.%20Shhhh%20don't%20tell%20him%20what%20is%20in%20my%20freezer.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20goats%20took%20a%20liking%20to%20Annie.%20Her%20new%20BFF%20snuck%20up%20on%20her.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELast%20meal%20we%20all%20had%20together%20was%20at%20Rumbo%20Al%20Sur%20We%20sipped%20cocktails%20and%20ate%20good%20food.%20It%20was%20really%20fun.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ELast%20but%20not%20least%20was%20cookie%20making%20with%20Parker.%20We%20made%20Banana%20chocolate%20chip%20cookies%20together.%20He%20was%20a%20good%20helper.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EGood%20cookie%20eater%20too.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20miss%20my%20little%20guy%20already.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EBanana%20Cookies%20Recipe%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ESimply%20Recipes%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1%20Preheat%20the%20oven%20to%20350%C2%B0F.%20Cream%20the%20butter%20and%20sugar%20together%20until%20light%20and%20fluffy.%20Add%20the%20egg%20and%20continue%20to%20beat%20until%20the%20mixture%20is%20light%20and%20fluffy.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E2%20In%20a%20bowl,%20mix%20the%20mashed%20bananas%20and%20baking%20soda.%20Let%20sit%20for%202%20minutes.%20The%20baking%20soda%20will%20react%20with%20the%20acid%20in%20the%20bananas%20which%20in%20turn%20will%20give%20the%20cookies%20their%20lift%20and%20rise.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E3%20Mix%20the%20banana%20mixture%20into%20the%20butter%20mixture.%20Mix%20together%20the%20flour,%20salt,%20and%20spices%20and%20sift%20into%20the%20butter%20and%20banana%20mixture%20and%20mix%20until%20just%20combined.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E4%20Fold%20into%20the%20batter%20the%20pecans%20or%20chocolate%20chips%20if%20using.%20Drop%20in%20dollops%20onto%20parchment%20paper-lined%20baking%20sheet.%20Bake%20for%2011-13%20minutes%20or%20until%20nicely%20golden%20brown.%20Let%20cool%20on%20wire%20racks.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMakes%20about%2030%20cookies.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
