  • 2 c. 2% lowfat milk
  • 1 1/2 c. evaporated skim lowfat milk
  • 2 Tbsp. instant coffee granules
  • 2 Tbsp. kahlua
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 3 x Large eggs
  • 4 x egg whites
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 7 ounce fat-free sweetened condensed lowfat milk
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 3 ounce lowfat cream cheese
  • 5 ounce fat-free cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 c. brown sugar sifted

Инструкции

  1. Combine milks, coffee, kahlua and cornstarch in a saucepan and heat, stirring till the coffee granules dissolve. Combine with remaining ingredients and puree till smooth in a food processor. Divide into individual custard c. and cook in a water bath at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hrs till set. Chill.
  2. Sprinkle over tops of custards trying to cover completely. Caramelize quickly with propane torch.
  3. Yield 12 servings
  4. NOTES : On the TV show, Terry Conlan suggested using meringue instead of whipped cream as a garnish for a creme brulee.
