- BAKE at 350 degrees for 25 to 35 min.
- MAKES about 3 dozen. Sifttogether the flour and soda. Beat Large eggs till foamy. Gradually add in brown sugar and continue beating till well blended. Stir in 1/2 c. butter, melted, unsweetened chocolate, and vanilla. Add in the sifted dry ingredients and nuts. Mix thoroughly. Turn into greased 13 x 9-inch pan. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) 25 to 35 min. (For a very moist bar, bake only 25 min.) Cold. Drizzle with a mix of melted chocolate and 1 tsp. butter. Cut into bars or possibly squares.*For use with Pillsbury's Best Self-Rising Flour, omit soda.
