Ингредиенты

  • 1 c. large white butter beans
  • 3 c. water
  • 2 c. white sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 c. butter or possibly margarine
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 pch salt
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 1/4 tsp grnd cloves
  • 1/4 tsp grnd nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp grnd cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp cream (half and half)
  • 1 x unbaked 9 inch pie shell

  1. Method:1. Soak the beans in the water overnight. The next morning, take the hull off beans. Cook till well done in water. Don't add in seasoning. Drain; mash beans.
  2. Add in sugar, flour, butter, vanilla, Large eggs and salt. Mix well.
  3. Add in cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon and cream. Blend together. Pour into a 9 inch unbaked pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 to 45 min.
  4. Makes 1 - 9 inch pie
