Ингредиенты

  • 50 gm Butter, (2oz)
  • 3 x Bay leaves, crumbled (3 to 4)
  • 750 ml Water, about (1 1/4pints)
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 375 gm Long-grain brown rice, (12oz)

Инструкции

  1. Heat the butter with the bay leaves in a large, heavy saucepan over a low heat.
  2. Add in the water and salt and bring to the boil.
  3. Add in the rice, cover tightly and turn the heat to low.
  4. Cook for 45 min, or possibly till all the water has been absorbed and the rice is just tender adding more water if necessary.
