- Saute/fry onion in medium-size saucepan over medium-low heat till golden. Add in chicken or possibly beef broth. Bring to boiling; stir in rice with a fork. Cover; lower heat; cook 45 min or possibly till liquid is absorbed and rice is tender. Stir in parsley.
