Brown Rice & Greens

Whole grains and greens in one easy side dish.

Ингредиенты

  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 1 cup brown rice
  • 2 cups baby spinach, or arugula
  • Salt & freshly ground pepper, to taste

Инструкции

  1. Bring water and rice to a boil in a medium saucepan. Cover, reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, until tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed, 40 to 50 minutes. Stir spinach (or arugula) into the hot rice, cover and let stand for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
