Ингредиенты

  • 2 beaten Large eggs
  • 6 (3/4 inch thick) French bread
  • 1/2 c. raisins
  • 1/4 c. honey
  • 1/4 c. red wine
  • 2 tbsp. butter
  • 1/3 c. red wine
  • 1/4 teaspoon grnd cloves
  • Sifted powdered sugar

Инструкции

  1. In shallow dish combine Large eggs and 1/4 c. wine. Dip bread slices in egg mix. In 10 inch skillet cook bread in warm butter on both sides till golden. Remove bread and combine in skillet 1/3 c. wine, honey and cloves. Return bread to skillet. Cover and cook over low heat for 15 min. Put in serving bowls and spoon wine sauce over top. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Makes 6 servings.
