Ингредиенты

3 quarts. thin sliced sm. cucumbers 10 med. white onions, thin sliced 1/3 c. salt 2 quarts. cracked ice 3 3/4 c. sugar

3 3/4 c. cider vinegar 1 1/8 teaspoon grnd turmeric 3/4 teaspoon celery seed 1 1/2 teaspoon mustard seed

Инструкции

1. Combine cucumbers and onions; sprinkle with salt and cover with cracked ice. Cover with a heavy lid and let stand for 3 hrs. Drain thoroughly and rinse well with cool water. Place in a large kettle. Add in rest of ingredients and bring almost to a boil, stirring constantly. Don't boil. Pack at once into warm sterilized jars and seal. Process in warm water bath for 5 min.
