Bread And Butter Jalapeno Pickles

Ингредиенты

  • 1 gallon jalapeno nacho slices
  • 1 large onion
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. white vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. salt
  • 1 Tbsp. celery seed
  • 1 Tbsp. mustard seed
  • 1 Tbsp. turmeric

Инструкции

  1. Drain liquid from peppers, layer onions and peppers back to jar. Use a larger jar than the one the peppers came in.
  2. Combine liquid and remaining ingredients in a pan and bring to a boil, simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Let Cold (THIS IS IMPORTANT).
  4. Pour liquid over peppers and onions.
  5. Chill 7 to 10 days inverting jar every 2 days.
  6. This makes sufficient for about a half gallon. Can be doubled.
