Ингредиенты

  • 1 c. Kellogg's All Bran
  • 1 1/4 c. seedless raisins
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1 c. molasses (Grandma's)
  • 1/2 c. corn oil
  • 2 Large eggs, well beaten
  • 2 c. fresh buttermilk (not pwdr)
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • Minced nuts (opt.)

Инструкции

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine first 3 ingredients. Set aside to cold. Mix next 4 ingredients and then add in dry ingredients, then the cooled first mix. Stir in an additional 1 1/2 c. dry all bran. Fill muffin pans (lined) about 3/4 full. Bake in 400 degree oven 20 min. Check after 15 min. Cold in pans. Yield: 2 1/2 to 3 dozen muffins. This recipe is 150 years old. Always moist. Freezes well.
