- Method:1. Season the beef steak with salt and pepper.
- Heat the oil in a non-stick frying pan and sear the steak for one minute on either side.
- Add in the oregano and paprika to the pan and pour in the wine.
- Add in the carrots, potatoes and shallots to the pan, and simmer gently for 4-5 min.
- Stir in the mustard, red wine, butter and fresh herbs and simmer for a further 4-5 min.
- To serve, place the steak on a serving plate, and arrange the vegetables around the edge. Pour the sauce over and serve.
