- How to Prepare the Slaw:1. Bring the vinegar, water, jalapeno and honey to a boil in a large saucepan.
- Add in the cabbage, season with salt and pepper to taste, and cook for 15 min or possibly till the cabbage is just wilted.
- Drain in a colander and place in a large bowl.
- Balance the green beans in a large pot of salted boiling water till just tender, approximately 2-3 min.
- Drain and add in to the cabbage.
- Add in the orange segments, toss with the vinaigrette and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- How to Prepare the Vinaigrette:1. Combine the juices, basil and onion in a blender. Blend till smooth.
- With the motor running, slowly add in the extra virgin olive oil, drop by drop at first, till emulsified.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
