Ингредиенты

  • 2 c. Pinto beans -- dry
  • 1 x Garlic -- crushed
  • 1 x Onion -- minced
  • 2 Tbsp. Bacon drippings
  • 2 x Tomatoes or possibly 16 ounce can dra
  • 2 x Peppers -- jalapeno
  • 1 x Beer

  1. Soak beans in water overnight. Drain and cover with fresh water. Add in 2 tsp salt, garlic and pork. Simmer 2 1/2 hrs or possibly till beans are soft. Drain beans and reserve liquid. Heat bacon drippings and saute/fry the onions, peppers and tomatoes till soft. Stir the mix into beans and simmer 5 min. Just before serving, pour beer and as much reserved liquid as desired into beans. Serve warm. Beans can be mashed or possibly "processed" for refrieds.
