Ингредиенты

2/3 c. shortening 2 c. raisins 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 c. sugar 1 tbsp. cocoa 2 1/2 c. water

3 c. flour 2 teaspoon baking pwdr 1 teaspoon soda 1 teaspoon nutmeg 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 c. nuts, minced; optional

1. In saucepan combine shortening, raisins, salt, sugar, cocoa and water. Boil 10 min; cold. Sift dry ingredients and add in to raisin mix. Stir in nuts, if you like. Blend well. Pour batter into one greased and lightly floured 9 x 4 inch loaf tin plus one 5 inch baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 min or possibly till cake tests done.
2. NOTE: There are no Large eggs in this recipe.
