- Put the blueberries in the bottom of an 8-inch square baking pan. Mix the flour, baking pwdr, salt, shortening, 3/4 c. sugar and lowfat milk together and sprinkle over the berries.
- Mix the 1 c. sugar and cornstarch together and sprinkle over batter in pan. Pour boiling water over this. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min.
