  • 6 pound beef brisket
  • 1/4 c. liquid smoke
  • 1 teaspoon garlic pwdr
  • 1 teaspoon chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 c. water

  1. Cover and bake in a 275 degree oven till fork tender, about 5 to 6 hrs. Reserve 1 c. meat juices. Refrigeratemeat for easier slicing. Scrap off fat before chilling. Remove excess fat from meat; slice thinly across the grain.
