Рецепт Blackberry-Cucumber Water
Blackberry-Cucumber Water
By Eliot, on July 7th, 2013
I am addicted to flavored water this summer.
Last summer got me hooked when Sassy Water was making the Pinterest rounds.
Now I am experimenting with whatever fresh stuff I have in the kitchen.
Most recently (with 2 1/2 flats of blackberries to use), I dreamed this up.
I am really fickle, but this is my new favorite.
Blackberry-Cucumber Water
- 1/2 c. fresh blackberries
- 1 medium cucumber, sliced
- 1 sprig mint
- 2 qts. filtered water
- Place blackberries in a small bowl with a bit of water and muddle. Strain juice into a 2 quart pitcher. (Discard seeds and pulp.)
Add cucumbers, mint and filtered water.
Chill for at least one hour.
Sip on this all day long.
Another great water to keep you sippin’ all summer is Blueberry-Thyme Water.
Use the same process as above just use muddled blueberries, filtered water, and sprigs of thyme. It is delicious and really refreshing.
I posted this earlier. It is a gorgeous cactus that flowered in our green house. I cannot describe how beautiful (and unexpected) it was.
Here is Abigail’s virtual flower for the day. Send up some good thoughts and prayers for her today.
