Ингредиенты

  • 4 x boneless skinless chicken breast halves
  • 2 c. black cherries (canned or possibly frzn) no sugar added
  • 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic pwdr
  • 1 tsp dry sherry
  • 1/2 c. onion minced
  • 1/4 c. raisins
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 c. water

  1. Preheat broiler. Place chicken breasts on broiler rack and broil 3 min a side, till browned. Transfer to an 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.
  2. In a blender or possibly food processor, combine 1 c. of the cherries, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, garlic pwdr, and sherry. Process till pureed. Pour into a small saucepan; add in onion, raisins, and cornstarch mix (cornstarch dissolved in 1/4 c. water). Cook, stirring occasionally, over med-high heat till mix thickens.
  3. Pour cherry sauce over chicken breasts. Add in remaining cherries. Turn oven heat to 350 degrees and bake 30 minutes.
  4. NOTES : I cooked the chicken in the microwave instead of the broiler.
  5. NOTE: There was plenty of sauce...could use 5 chicken halves
