Рецепт Black Cat Quesadillas for Halloween Snacking
My Black Cat Quesadillas are the cat’s meow – the perfect Halloween snack or lunch. They taste awesome for the obvious reason that they’re stuffed with melty cheese, but when you add on the fact that they’re shaped like spooky black cats, they become the coolest snacks in Halloween history.
All I did to achieve the shape was use a cookie cutter. It works just as well as it does for cookie dough. Then I plopped on two black beans for eyeballs to finish off these felines. They’re a little mischievous-looking, but aren’t all black cats? Just look at mine:
Pure evil, I tell you!
But there can’t be much evil about the double cheese filling in these quesadillas. I also add taco seasoning and green onions for fresh flavor. You can serve these with salsa or guacamole, and feel free to dub them “blood and guts” and “slime” instead.
Okay, now I’m really getting twisted.

Let’s get back to these cute snacks. Fry ’em up on your stovetop in only a few minutes, and they make a great lunch for little ones, or an appetizer for a Halloween party Everyone will think you’re little miss Martha Stewart, but you really only need the culinary skills of Frankenstein’s monster for this one.
A Few Tips Before You Get Cooking:
You can add whatever you like to the filling: chicken, veggies, etc.
You need to be aggressive with the cookie cutter to cut through all the way, but with a little pressure, it will work.
Get the kids involved and let them help make these.

- 4 large Tumaro’s Let’s Skip the Sandwich Sourdough Wraps
- 6 slices cheddar-jack cheese
- 6 slices pepper jack cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh scallions
- 4 tsp. taco seasoning, divided
- 1 tbsp. black beans, drained and rinsed
Directions:
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Meanwhile, break up 3 slice of cheddar-jack and 3 slices of pepper jack and lay them evenly over one wrap. Sprinkle with half the green onions (2 tbsp) and half the taco seasoning (2 tsp). Cover with another wrap then transfer to hot pan.
Let cook until golden brown then flip and brown the other side. Transfer to a cutting board.
Use a cat-shaped cookie cutter to punch out the quesadillas. You will need to apply quite a bit of pressure and shake the cutter around a little to break through. Feel free to snack on the scrap pieces as you go!
Repeat steps 2-4 with remaining ingredients.
Place two black beans on each cat’s face to represent eyes. Enjoy!
