Рецепт Black Box Wines, perfect for outdoor entertaining #BlackBoxWines
I’ve been a fan of Black Box Wine for several years now, because it’s a wine that goes with my outdoor entertaining style. It’s a wonderful wine to have at a summer party for several reasons:.
Quality: Even casual wine drinkers know that Black Box Wines have won over 40 Gold Medals and 27 “Best Buys” from Wine Enthusiast. In fact, the 90-point 2009 Black Box Merlot ranked as Wine Enthusiast’s sixth “Top 100 Best Buy” in 2012. Impressive!
Affordable: Black Box Wines are extremely affordable. Each three liter box holds the equivalent of four bottles of wine and costs about $25. That’s equivalent to a $6.25 bottle of wine.
Goes well with food: Isn’t that the point of having wine at a party? I also find that having a glass of Black Box Wine is a great way to relax in the backyard before dinner.
Stays fresh: You may be concerned about having a lot of wine leftover after a party. Not to worry as the box will stay fresh for about a month. Wine’s my favorite party leftover. Isn’t it yours?
Convenient: I love the little pouring spout on the box and feel that it does a nice job of aerating the wine as it’s poured.
Good variety: You should be able to find the perfect Black Box wine for whatever you’re serving from fish and chicken to barbecue. Black Box makes nine varietals in their three liter size:
- Valle Central Chile Cabernet Sauvignon
- California Merlot
- Mendoza Argentina Malbec
- California Central Coast Shiraz
- Red Blend
- California Chardonnay
- Valle Central Chile Sauvignon Blanc
- California Pinot Grigio
- California Riesling Enjoying the great outdoors with Black Box Wines
Back when we lived in Colorado, we RV camped with friends several times during the summer. One of the state park rules was no glass bottles. Black Box was perfect for the campgrounds, since there would be several adults having wine during dinner including some local friends who would stop by for a glass after closing the campground store. Even better, we didn’t have to bother trying to dig up a wine bottle opener or my husband’s Swiss army knife to open the wine!
If you like to attend outdoor concerts or plays where you can picnic and bring wine, check out Black Box Wines’ new single serving 500 ml Tetra Paks. They sell for $4.99 each and come in five varietals.
Moscato
Chardonnay
Cabernet Sauvignon
Merlot
Pinot Grigio Don’t forget about bringing a few Tetra Paks when tailgating season starts up, too!

I wanted to mention the faux pas (ahem) of drinking wine out of plastic cups. We’ve all done it because we had to follow “no glass” rules around the club pool or at the campgrounds. See the wine glasses above? They’re PLASTIC! I found them at Target, but saw cute ones at TJ Maxx’s Home Good store, too. I’m sure your favorite discount retailer has some cute plastic ware to serve Black Box Wine in. After all, it’s so easy to slip a few plastic wine glasses into your picnic basket before leaving for the outdoor concert at the botanical gardens. I feel it’s worth the investment, too, since you won’t have to deal with the guilt of tossing plastic cups in the trash.
Finally, just a reminder – PLEASE DRINK RESPONSIBLY and keep the wine (and its fun-to-pour spout) out of reach of the kids.
Are you ready to think inside the box? Available in 10 delicious varietals and two sizes (three liter and Tetra Pak), Black Box Wine will have you ready to lose the bottle! Black Box Wines is perfect for all your outdoor entertaining!
