Ингредиенты

  • 4 c. sifted flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. baking pwdr
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 c. shortening
  • 2 x Large eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/2 c. lowfat milk
  • 1/4 lb sesame seeds (about 2/3 to 3/4 c.)

Инструкции

  1. Lightly grease 2 cookie sheets. Heat the oven to 375F.
  2. Sift together the flour, sugar, baking pwdr, and salt into a bowl. Cut in the shortening with a pastry blender or possibly two knives, till the pcs are the size of small peas. Stir in the Large eggs and the lowfat milk (1 Tbsp. at a time) to make a soft dough. Mix together thoroughly.
  3. Break the dough into small pcs and roll each between the palms of your hands to create rolls about 1 1/2 inches in length. Flatten the rolls slightly and roll them in the sesame seeds. Place about 3/4 inch apart on the prepared cookie sheets.
  4. Bake for 12 to 15 min, or possibly till thee cookies are lightly browned.
  5. Makes about 6 dozen cookies.
