Better Blog Retreat 2015
A few weeks ago, I spent the weekend at Deer Valley Resort for the third annual Better Blog Retreat. I look forward to this weekend every year. I love connecting with the blogging community. I spend a lot of time at the computer and it is always nice to connect in person. I always leave with new ideas, friendships, motivation, inspiration, and a full heart. I am truly grateful that I get to be a part of this crazy blogging world!

%20P.S.-Sabra%E2%80%99s%20Rosemary%20with%20Sea%20Salt%20Hummus%20is%20my%20new%20favorite!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAfter%20everyone%20arrived,%20we%20went%20to%20dinner%20at%20The%20Brass%20Tag,%20one%20of%20my%20favorite%20restaurants.%20A%20few%20of%20my%20favorites%20on%20the%20menu%20include:%20the%20flat%20bread,%20blueberry,%20romaine,%20and%20kale%20salad,%20vegetable%20hash,%20and%20of%20course%20the%20chocolate%20chip%20skillet%20cookie%20with%20gelato!%20You%20really%20can%E2%80%99t%20go%20wrong,%20everything%20is%20amazing!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOn%20Friday,%20we%20spent%20the%20day%20with%20three%20of%20my%20favorite%20brands:%20Arla%20Dofino,%20Lindt,%20and%20Private%20Selection%20(which%20can%20be%20found%20in%20Kroger%20stores).%20We%20love%20bringing%20brands%20and%20bloggers%20together%20so%20we%20can%20talk%20shop,%20share,%20learn,%20and%20experience%20their%20amazing%20products.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%20started%20the%20morning%20with%20a%20toast%20bar.%20We%20had%20a%20huge%20spread%20of%20sweet%20and%20savory%20items.%20It%20was%20fun%20watching%20all%20of%20the%20bloggers%20make%20their%20special%20toasts.%20Everyone%20got%20super%20creative!%20I%20wanted%20to%20try%20them%20all:)%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EArla%20made%20a%20killer%20mac%20and%20cheese%20bar%20for%20lunch.%20There%20were%20a%20ton%20of%20fun%20toppings!%20And%20look%20at%20that%20HUGE%20wheel%20of%20Gouda?%20It%20weighed%20more%20than%20Maxwell:)%20It%20was%20a%20cheesy%20afternoon!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20Gouda%20and%20Havarti%20mac%20and%20cheese%20was%20fantastic!%20The%20ultimate%20comfort%20food!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAfter%20lunch,%20we%20had%20a%20special%20session%20with%20Lindt%E2%80%99s%20Master%20Chocolatier,%20which%20is%20pretty%20much%20the%20coolest%20job%20ever!%20When%20I%20grow%20up,%20I%20want%20to%20be%20a%20Master%20Chocolatier!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%20learned%20about%20the%20chocolate%20making%20process,%20had%20a%20wine%20and%20chocolate%20pairing,%20and%20even%20got%20to%20taste%20some%20chocolate%20that%20hasn%E2%80%99t%20been%20released%20yet.%20I%20can%E2%80%99t%20tell%20you%20the%20flavors,%20but%20I%20will%20tell%20you%20that%20there%20are%20some%20REALLY%20good%20ones!!%20I%20was%20in%20chocolate%20heaven!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFor%20dinner,%20we%20were%20treated%20to%20an%20amazing%20meal%20by%20Private%20Selection.%20Look%20at%20the%20appetizer%20spread!%20I%20was%20blown%20away%E2%80%A6and%20that%20was%20just%20the%20start%20of%20the%20meal!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EThe%20entire%20meal%20was%20made%20with%20Private%20Selection%20ingredients.%20We%20shop%20at%20Smith%E2%80%99s%20(Kroger)%20and%20buy%20Private%20Selection%20items%20all%20of%20the%20time,%20but%20even%20I%20was%20surprised%20at%20how%20many%20fabulous%20products%20they%20have!%20Private%20Selection%20sure%20makes%20it%20easy%20to%20enjoy%20a%20gourmet%20meal%20without%20all%20of%20the%20hard%20work!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EMy%20favorite%20dish%20was%20the%20roasted%20butternut%20squash.%20I%20am%20going%20to%20recreate%20this%20one%20soon%20so%20stay%20tuned!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EOn%20Saturday%20morning,%20we%20had%20the%20privilege%20of%20meeting%20Golden%20Harper,%20the%20creator%20of%20Altra%20running%20shoes.%20He%20did%20a%20Run%20Better%20Clinic%20with%20all%20of%20us%20and%20I%20LOVED%20it.%20I%20am%20a%20runner,%20I%20have%20been%20running%20for%20years,%20and%20I%20thought%20I%20knew%20what%20I%20was%20doing,%20but%20this%20clinic%20really%20helped%20me!%20I%20had%20several%20aha%20moments.%20Golden%20really%20knows%20what%20he%20is%20talking%20about%20and%20the%20shoes%20are%20amazing!%20Side%20note-Josh%20has%20been%20wearing%20Altra%20shoes%20for%20awhile%20and%20has%20been%20trying%20to%20get%20me%20to%20switch,%20but%20I%20didn%E2%80%99t%20listen.%20Oops!%20Well,%20I%20listened%20to%20Golden%20and%20I%20am%20sold!%20They%20are%20genius%20and%20going%20to%20make%20running%20so%20much%20better!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EAfter%20we%20got%20our%20run%20on,%20we%20tackled%20more%20blog%20topics%20and%20enjoyed%20breakfast%20from%20Deer%20Valley%20Grocery%20Cafe.%20I%20made%20a%20cute%20little%20parfait%20with%20their%20homemade%20granola-which%20is%20SO%20good!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFor%20lunch,%20we%20drove%20up%20to%20Montage%20Deer%20Valley%20and%20ate%20at%20APEX.%20I%20had%20the%20veggie%20sandwich%20and%20it%20was%20delicious!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%20spent%20the%20afternoon%20at%20the%20Montage%E2%80%99s%20spa%20and%20I%20don%E2%80%99t%20think%20I%20have%20ever%20been%20so%20relaxed!%20I%20enjoyed%20the%20Elements%20of%20Wellness%20massage%20and%20loved%20every%20second!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EFor%20dinner,%20we%20visited%20Riverhorse%20on%20Main,%20which%20is%20on%20Main%20Street%20in%20Park%20City.%20I%20love%20the%20location,%20atmosphere,%20and%20food!%20I%20get%20the%20pear%20burrata%20salad%20every%20time!%20It%20is%20the%20BEST!%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EWe%20enjoyed%20one%20final%20meal%20at%20Deer%20Valley%20Grocery%20Cafe%20because%20we%20were%20still%20hungry:)%20Of%20course,%20I%20had%20to%20order%20some%20cookies%20to%20go%20wi
