- Cream butter and sugar till creamy. Add in the Large eggs that have been beaten well. Blend well. Sift flour and baking pwdr together. Take 1/4 c. of flour mix, toss fruit and nuts in it to coat well. Hold them out. Add in remaining flour to creamed mix, mix well. Mix in fruit and nuts.
- Grease pan, line with waxed paper. Put batter in pan and place in a cool oven. Turn oven to 250 degrees, bake for 3 hrs.
- Makes 1 (9 inch) spring pan or possibly 2 loaf pans. Best if kept 24 hrs before slicing.
