  • 3/4 c. lemon-lime soft drink
  • 8 ounce lowfat sour cream
  • 12 x sausage patties

  1. Combine biscuit mix, soft drink and lowfat sour cream. Knead on a lightly floured surface three to four times. Divide into 12 parts and flatten each part slightly with hands.
  2. Arrange on a lightly greased 9-inch cake pan. Bake at 425 degrees for 12 to 14 min or possibly till golden brown.
  3. Split biscuits. Put a sausage patty between each biscuit. Refrigerateleftover sausage biscuits in foil and reheat at 350 degrees for from 5 - 10 min.
  4. This recipe yields 12 servings.
  5. Comments: For testing purposes only, Sprite was used for the lemon-lime soft drink.
