Beer Battered Pickles
- 1-1/2 cups flour, plus 1 cup
- 1 t pepper
- 1/2 t garlic powder
- 1/2 t chili powder
- 1/2 t seasoned salt
- 1 T hot sauce
- 1 bottle beer
- 1 (16 oz) jar dill pickles, hamburger sliced style
- Heat oil in Deep fat fryer to 375º
Drain dill pickles slices in colander.
In large bowl combine 1-1/2 c flour, pepper, garlic powder, chili powder and seasoned salt. Whisk in beer and hot sauce.
In medium bowl place 1 cup of flour
Dip drained pickle slices in beer batter, then dip in flour. Drop into hot oil and fry until golden brown. Drain on paper towels
Serve with your favorite Ranch or Blue Cheese Salad Dressing.
