- Cook bacon till crisp. Drain and set aside.
- Brown meat. Add in onions, garlic and mushrooms during last few min of browning meat. Drain off excess fat.
- Add in remaining ingredients except water and flour.
- Cover and cook in 300 degree oven for 2 hrs. Check and add in water if needed. Remove Bay leaves when finished.
- Combine water and flour. Slowly add in into mix. Heat to boiling.
- Serve over noodles or possibly mashed potatoes.
